Cakoe is designed to keep your vehicle comparison data on your device. The app does not collect personal data from your device for transmission to us, does not track you, and does not sell your data. Data leaves the app only when you explicitly choose to share a generated brief through the operating system's share sheet.
Cakoe is operated by the developer or legal entity identified as the seller on Cakoe's App Store product page (referred to as "Cakoe," "we," "us," or "our"). We are responsible for the data practices described in this policy. You can contact us using the address in the Contact section below.
You may enter vehicle details (year, make, model, trim, asking price, mileage, dimensions, fuel type, range, fuel economy, seller information, warranty and inspection status, listing URLs, and notes), buyer profile preferences (budget ceiling, garage dimensions, entrance width, clearance preset, required seats, cargo priority, commute distance, fuel preference, and purchase deadline), and evidence records (screenshots, photos, URLs, seller messages, inspection notes, and quotes). Structured records are stored locally on your device in a SQLite database within the app's private storage.
The app requests access to your device camera or photo gallery only when you choose to add a vehicle photo or attach evidence (such as a screenshot of a listing, a photo of an inspection report, or a damage photo). The app stores a local reference to the image file returned by the operating system. Image availability and storage location may be managed by iOS and can change if temporary files are removed. The app does not upload images to any server or third-party service.
The app includes a "Share Brief" feature that generates a plain-text summary of your test-drive shortlist (vehicle names, rankings, scores, and risk flags). When you tap share, the summary is handed to the operating system's share sheet. You choose the destination and are responsible for reviewing the content and recipient before sharing. The app does not select a recipient or send the summary on its own.
Cakoe does not make any network requests. All data processing, scoring, ranking, gate checks, and guide content operate entirely offline on your device. The listing URLs you enter are stored as text references only — the app does not fetch or load those web pages.
The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, or cross-app tracking of any kind.
Structured records are stored in a local SQLite database file (cakoe.db) within the app's documents directory on your device. Image references point to local files made available by iOS. Cakoe does not transmit this data to or store it on our external servers. Device-level backups and operating-system storage management are controlled by you, Apple, and your device settings rather than by Cakoe.
You can delete individual vehicles in the app and remove a vehicle photo reference while editing that vehicle. The current version does not provide a single control to erase the buyer profile or every local record at once. Removing the app deletes its active local app container from that device. Images originally selected from your photo library remain in your photo library, and copies retained in a device or cloud backup are governed by your operating-system and backup settings.
Cakoe does not integrate with remote third-party services, developer-operated cloud storage, user account systems, or remote APIs. It uses local iOS and Flutter components for functions such as choosing photos, local storage, and presenting the system share sheet. The app does not require an internet connection to perform its core functions.
Cakoe does not transfer your app data to developer-operated servers in another country or region. If you explicitly share a brief, the destination service you select may process the shared text under its own terms and privacy policy.
Cakoe is a general car-buying organization tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. App data remains local unless a user explicitly chooses to share a generated brief through the operating system's share sheet.
If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
